about which cell phone company to go with? I am in the market for one and I was wondering if you fine people had any yay/nay recommendations for me...If so, please comment.

I use Telus and they seem to be pretty good. I've heard that Rogers reception is not that good, but that was a few years ago and it may have improved. I've also heard that Bell has been deceiving some customers on their contracts, not informing them that certain things will change in their contract after 10 mos., then charging them ridiculous amounts and not sending them bills. I would check out Telus and Rogers for your own preference and avoid Bell. Fido is another option, but if you go up Island there's no reception.

Hey Deb. Stretch uses Rogers and it works pretty well. I'm going to go with that as well when it's time. He at least never complains about hidden charges, etc, and my parents have been with Telus for 21/2 years and have had nothing but problems.
Rogers bought Fido recently, so there really isn't any comparision there anymore.
